The 1 inch diameter Ashford curtain rod in matte black features larger open work ball shaped finials to make a bolder statement. Use on larger windows and in larger rooms, like your bedroom and living room, to hang light to heavyweight curtains as well as thermal or room darkening curtains. The telescoping rod adjusts from 36 to 66 inches or 66 to 120 inches to fit your window and includes adjustable brackets. The brackets can be adjusted to project the curtain rod 4 to 5.25 inches from the wall. It is ideal for hanging curtains with pockets, grommets, back tabs, and tab tops, but can also be used with clip rings. Drapery Hardware Set Includes: one telescoping steel curtain rod with decorative open work ball shaped finials (3.33" L x 3.18" W x 3.18" H), two adjustable mounting brackets, one center support, screws, drywall anchors, and installation instructions.

Very well made!

This is much heavier, and sturdier than I thought it would be, which is great! My other ones were pretty flimsy, even though I paid a decent amount for them. I like the feel and look to it, and can't wait to hang it up! Will probably end up replacing my other ones with the same kind.

Very nice

I received this as a gift in exchange for my honest review. It's a very nice, high-quality, looking curtain rod. I like the nice design at the ends and how they twist off so you can slide the curtain on. It comes with the hardware you need to install and hang it up. I haven't been able to hang curtains on it yet due to some remodeling, but it appears that it will hold up well.

This was so pretty! I love the dark color and the design! The ball on the end was bigger than I expected it to be but I really like it and it adds to my room.

Great looking

I really like this curtain rod and the decorative part on the end of each side. It’s built with stable material and doesn’t make me worry about it falling down. I had everything all laid out and had bought this curtain I like so much previously only to get started putting all the pieces together to mount it, only to see that my curtain was too short! I had used the dimensions from our previous house where the windows were shorter. So even though I’m ready to put it up, once I get another curtain I like I will update this reviews pictures. I’d still recommend this brand and rod to someone looking for a little “extra” from just a regular curtain rod.

Easy install

This was super easy to install. I just took down my old one, and the holes from this new one lined right up. Came with drywall anchors. The curtain rod itself is nice and sturdy. Inch or so around diameter. Much better choice for my heavy velvet/blackout curtains. Very pleased! I’ll look at this brand next time I need to replace any of the curtain rods in the house.

Beautiful

I honestly thought it would be a little heavier or sturdier but it weighs very little which is concerning because heavy curtains may break it. I haven’t put it up yet but it’s beautiful.
