B of the way the mattress is designed, you can't use fitted sheets, and you also can't use a fitted mattress protector / pad, or even a mattress topper. The problem is there's no way to get underneath the mattress, so you can't tuck anything in there or get to the bottom of it. The folks who designed this really should have come up with a solution to this problem...just off of the top of my head, why not have it come with a stock mattress protector / fitted sheet combo that is washable and attaches using velcro (hook and loop) strips to each foam section? That would've done the job just fine... The other problem is that the foam itself isn't good quality. It's not terribly thick, and it's also not firm enough to maintain its shape when used multiple nights per week by someone who is at least 175 lbs, or heavier. You'll find that it wears out very quickly. It's nothing like a Casper or equivalent foam mattress, that will last for years and years. I wouldn't recommend this at all.

When I first slept on one of these, I was a guest at someone else's house. I was so impressed with how comfortable the bed was and how well I slept, I made note of the make and model. It is sold exclusively by Macy's. When I moved into my new house I bought two, one for each guest room. Luckily, they were on sale. Now my guests rave about how comfortably they sleep. They can't believe it is a pull out sleeper couch. To protect the mattress I add a mattress topper which only adds to the comfort. A little ingenuity is needed to firmly tuck the sheets. It is a great couch too - very attractive and comfortable. Other fabric colors are available, but you must visit the Macy's furniture store to view and select them. They offer a wide selection.

I purchased this sofa bed last year. It is very practical even though it is so elegant looking. Very comfortable to sit on. The bed is the most comfortable sofa bed I have ever slept on. One draw back is that it is difficult to make. I struggle wrapping the fitted sheet around the mattress at the head of the bed. I still recommend this sofa.

Very comfortable and high quality sofa with queen size pull out bed. This sofa was a bit of a splurge but it was worth it. I like how the mattress pulls out, the supports underneath is very sturdy as opposed to others that only have one bar that comes out at the foot of the bed. We use it in our living room which is small but the width of this one was perfect- good for small spaces. The sofa cushions are thick and dense so they should last a while plus the covers are removable and washable. The mattress is also nice and medium firm, very comfortable. Can’t even tell it’s a sofa bed mattress! Overall I love it!

We were looking for a new sleeper sofa for the guest room to replace the old uncomfortable sofa with the pull-out mattress. This new design is amazing - the queen size mattress is as comfortable as a regular bed, doesn't have any springs to poke your back and the couch itself is very comfortable. Very happy with the purchase!

Very comfortable as a couch & as a pullout bed. The price was also reasonable. Just wish it came in a few more colors.

Most comfortable sleeper I’ve ever been on, would definitely recommend it.
