Best One So Far

4.5/5.5 stars. I truly could have deleted her chapters and felt the book was strong enough without the grief and drama. Nikolai- the KING we deserved finally. The ending crushed me with him. I can't write enough good things about this character. His dialogue, his mind and his creative solutions. Atmosphere This book follows the same world as all of Grisha, however I will say the vibes of this book are more post war and grief. Nikolai is grieving the monster he has become, Nina is grieving, and Zoya is trying to find a balance in her life. Plot Nina's plot was slow, and I found it less interesting. That being said it did pick up and I found myself highly invested. Nikolai and Zola's plot had twisted around so much that I had trouble putting down the book. I didn't see the ending coming at all. I gasped, and threw the book. "It's good to be home" had me SCREAMING.

MY FAVORITE GRISHAVERSE BOOK YET

I have read all the grishaverse books, and I had very high expectations for this book, which it lived up to. I love, love LOVE Nikolai, so to have him as the main protagonist was AMAZING! The other characters were tied in from previous books, and the plot was so good. I reccomend this to anyone who liked or loved the grishaverse books, *I DO NOT RECCOMEND READING THIS BEFORE ANY OF THE OTHER GRISHAVERSE BOOKS!! YOU WILL GET SO MANY SPOILERS** I am so so excited for Rule of Wolves!!!!!!!!
