Excellent Addition
Got this bowl as an extra because it fits the Professional 5 Plus. It works perfectly and is my bowl of choice with the mixer. It's a nice addition to the 5 qt and 3 qt bowls that came with the Pro 5 Plus.

Disappointed
I purchased the 6-Q professional stand up mixer. The bowl bottom is too wide and does not mix properly. You can not use a single recipe because the bottom is not narrow like the tilt-head stand mixer. It is very disappointing. I rather used my hand mixer than my 6-Q.

Perfect Fit
I bought this bowl in polished stainless to fit my new Empire Red Mixer from Costco, it fits perfect and looks beautiful. I will save the stainless bowl that came with mixer as a backup. Very happy with Kitchenaid service and price.

Great Bowl
Bought this five years or more ago. Works like it is supposed to and never gives me any problems. I have two, one for beating everything and one I reserve for just egg whites.

Poor Design
My hubby bought the Lift-up mixer to upgrade my kitchen tools. The mixer is wonderful but the Large and Small metal bowl’s that come with the machine are useless and there are not other types of bowls I can use with it, to my knowledge. The bowls have a bump and divot in the center bottom of each bowl which the ingredients collect there and never mix, unless you stop, take out the beater and hand mix. Because of the bump/divot, you cannot whip any egg whites, I had to purchase a cheep hand mixer to do that. The beater in the small bowl does not whip well, only good for mixing. And

Rust on the inside
On the first hand wash I made before using the appliance it completely rusted on the Inside. I noticed it was full of little holes on the inside of the bowl and the rust came right out of those holes. This is obviously a manufacturer defect. Not the quality you would expect from kitchenaid
