KFEL6 is GOOD beater. I wish it was still available to buy.

This is a good beater. It is sturdy and not made of plastic! The only concern is that it leaves too much material untouched at the bottom of the bowl. The flexible part that scrapes the bowl is really good until you get to about two inches or so at the bottom of the beater. The flexible part stops touching the bowl. At about an inch from the very bottom the flexible part is cut shorter than the rest. This section should be the same width as the rest of the flexible part so that it scraps around the indentation at the bottom of the bowl instead of hovering just above it. Regardless I prefer metal over plastic and will continue to use this either until it has been improved or this one wears out.

This is the only blade I use anymore, it is such a snap to mix and scrape the bowl, all in one action.

Great Accessory and great Macy's Service

Ordered online ... and due to my own error ordered the wrong part. No problem at all with returning in store. Love the quality, love the service online and in store! I'm a new Macy's customer but impressed so far!

Great product

This is the beater bar to buy for your mixer. It does cost a lot more but it will stand up over time and not void your warranty.

love how it scrapes the bowl as it rotates

After misplacing my attachments for my kitchen aid I took the plunge to order new and I am very happy with this newer version. This is fabulous. Love how it does the work for me by scraping the sides as it rotates.

Did not fit

I thought all 6qt. Mixer had the same bowl. They are not I have a tall slender bowl, the beater only fits the shorter wider bowl. I returned my purchase
