Knives are good quality block not so much

I am a culinary chef and pastry chef and these knives are good...very good. Blades should have a flexibility to them and feel comfortable in your hands. These I highly recommend. But but but I don not like the storage block. If your a person who doesn't dry your knives and make sure your knives are completely dry and clean. You won't like this block at all. If that's you you'll be removing all the screws to clean the plexiglass cover. That's not good. Looks pretty but not really functional.

New Knives

Other than a not well put together block, the knives are excellent. It took a bit to figure out some of the slots and which one fits into which slot, but overall, I am very pleased.

Nice Looking Knife Set

I received this knife set from Kitchenaid to try and review. The knife set is very nice looking and modern, it looks great on my counter! I tried several of the knives as well as the scissors. The knives felt decent in my hand, but I prefer a heftier handle that is either stainless or plastic. Taking care of the wooden handles is going to be a chore. The scissors felt awkward in my hand, but I continued using them to see if I could used to the grip, but all I got was a cramped hand. I prefer my other Kitchenaid scissors that I already had and use regularly. The knives cut well and it’s nice to have a sharpener included. Overall this is a nice set, with a good variety and sizes of knives without a bunch of steak knives which I never use anyway.
