Great Kettle!

I just love this Kettle. It looks amazing and it works great. No complaints at all.

Things that can make this wonderful kettle better!

Great build quality, love the temperature control. Would be if it had a “keep warm” feature. Button is a bit convenient to get to. These are just things that would make the greet kettle even better!

Looks great, everything is nice, but it's lined with plastic inside, only the bottom/heating is stainless, the entire inner body sidewall is plastic, and plastic melts and leaches toxins when heated, not into microplastic in the body. so I'm returning without ever using it.

Love the Red color. Goes perfectly with our decor

I'm a tea drinker. Bought this 5 years ago mainly because of the color and unique shape. It has sat on our kitchen island ever since. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, but I like it so much I bought a new one asap so that I have it on hand when/if the original finally conks out

Beautiful kettle

Beautiful kettle. We have a smaller one we have been using, and my husband loves it, but it is too difficult for me to fill, because the gauge is on the front and I have to turn it around to the back to fill it p, thus easy to overfill. This one is larger, but it is also quite heavy. It looks modern, and has a lovely “ting” when the temperature is reached. My only complaint is that it does take a lot longer to heat ip.

Looks great, functions well, good build quality

Looks stunning, really love it. Functions well, adjustable temperature setting is good. Why not 5 stars: Doesn't seem to have a hold temperature feature. I wish lid was removable. Measure scale could be more granular. Also bit on pricier side compared to competitors.

Excellent kettle but unreliable

I have been using this beautiful kettle for almost 3 years, so I think it’s time for a review. Build and looks I would say this is the most beautiful red kettle on the market, mine matches the toaster, mixer, kitchen utensils and pans. It looks retro, has solid external build quality and the red paint is thick. Performance The separate base has a temperature slider, setting the desired heat is easy and accurate. Water reaches boiling point relatively quickly and the ‘bing’ noise is loud to indicate it’s ready. Reliability This is very poor. Unlike the food mixer, the kettle is unreliable. I’ve had the kettle changed, just a year after buying. Customer service were good and replaced it under warranty. Then a month after the warranty run out, the replacement kettle broke down. However, since there was no warranty remaining, Customer Service could not replace it. I requested it to be repaired and I would pay for it. But is not possible as these kettles cannot be repaired economically. Therefore, I must buy a new one. Overall Such a shame that the kettle is so unreliable. It does everything well and matches my other KitchenAid products beautiful. But alas, I will not be buying another one.

Function and Beauty

I spent some time reviewing the measurements, functions and looks with a lot of others that the customer service person was sharing with me. He did like the gooseneck one I however was limited by space restrictions on my counter. ILOVE this tea kettle, if one can say that about having their cup of tea and some hot water. This model is my utmost favorite in every way, it was my Christmas present to myself.
