even toasting

haven't had a long time but so far, I love my toaster. It's even toasting but it's not quick. Love the fact it does bagels without the burnt side of the bagel which i use for English muffins works great. Never thought I'd spend that kind of money for a toaster, but it is worth it. Just get it

Tip Top Toaster

The best toaster on the market

I purchased this toaster about 1 month ago. I love it! Is it expensive, yes. Is it heavy, yes. Does it do everything it says it does, yes. You get what you pay for. Will it last many many years, yes! I have wanted this toaster for several years and finally decided to purchase it. Best purchase I have made in a long time. If you have been looking for a high quality toaster, kitchenaid, and concerned about the investment, just do it. You will not be disappointed. It has a sleek look, toasts perfectly, warms your toast automatically and beeps when done.

Relaxing Toasting Experience / Frozen Feature

Entire family loves this toaster! Not sure why we waited so long to buy a good one. What sets this toaster apart is how it automatically lowers your bread and how gently it rises your toast when complete, without that startling pop. Soft ding alerts you when starting and finishing the toasting cycle. Super relaxing and chill in the morning. Frozen feature works great for Pillsbury Toaster Strudels and Toaster Scramblers, warming the inside and toasting evenly without burning. Well built and looks great on the counter with its quality finish.

Great product, great customer service

I purchased this toaster because of the great styling; it added a new dimension to my kitchen counter top. This was my second toaster. After a year of service, my first toaster had minor problems. I called customer service and explained the problem and to my surprise, they sent me a new toaster. As a builder I've purchased quite a few Kitchen Aid products over the years and never had any problems or warranty issues. The real measure of a company is how they handle product issues.

Beautiful form. Flawed function.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is one the most attractive toasters around. It's very solid (heavy), automobile quality paint job, great (purported functionality.. Expensive, but the quality of the build seemed worth it. On first try, the automatic toast drop function did not work Neither did the Keep Warm function. And the toasting was very inconsistent. Toasted one side, not the other. And no it was not on the begel setting. Kitchenaide's excellent customer service had a new one to me in a few days. However this toasted very unevenly as well. Toasted brown on one side, not toasted on the other. This was also returned and I unfortunaely I had to purchase a competitors product.
