Loved it!

The box is a little misleading. It showed a black one, but I received a silver one like I was expecting. I wish the machine cord was a little longer, it's really short. I love how it came with pretty much everything. I was so impressed with how it had 3 temperatures for the coffee. Also came with hot water options, that's a plus for sure. The expresso was just perfect, I felt like I was at a coffee shop.

My own coffee shop in the corner of my kitchen! ☕

WOW!! I never knew I NEEDED an espresso machine until receiving this! Not gonna lie, I was intimidated for the first few days trying this out. Thankfully it comes with easily understandable recipes and directions. The grinder has a dial that lets you adjust the grind, you then press a button that measures out 1 or 2 shots of espresso for you. You tamp it, lock the tamp onto the extractor and in about 10-30 seconds your espresso is made. It even has an ideal espresso manometer. The milk frother is amazing. I've been enjoying morning lattes and evening Americano drinks. This machine comes with a thorough instruction manual and even a recipe book! I love the noise it makes. There is also temperature control and a fast heating coil to make hot water and hot milk in seconds. It reminds me of my local coffee shop but toned down as it is a rather quiet machine. It's beautiful and fun to play around with. I'm enjoying dialing in the perfect shot!

Easy to use not set up

The machine itself is simple and easy to use. My biggest complaint is that the setup was not as simple as it appeared to be. I kept getting flashing lights and the buttons weren’t working. It took too much troubleshooting to fix. However, now that it’s up and running I am enjoying this machine as a new addition to my morning ritual. I used to make either French press coffee or with my bialetti but this is so much better. The machine does it all - from grinding to brewing to frothing. It’s great!

Amazing quality

I’ve made espresso, cappuccino, and lattes so far, and they all taste great once you figure out your grind size and tamp pressure. The steam wand is powerful and makes silky milk foam (still practicing latte art though!). The machine feels sturdy and high-quality, and I like that I can be a bit “hands-on” without it being overly complicated.

Quiet and delicious!

This machine is awesome! Quiet is an understatement. I can whip up a quick americano without fear of waking up anybody in the morning! It's also super user friendly. I am no barista but can pull a great shot out of this. I’m in love with it!!

A coffee shop taste without leaving home

At first, I was a little overwhelmed by the KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine with Burr Grinder, but it turned out to be surprisingly easy to use. Once I got the hang of it, it consistently made amazing espresso every time. The built-in grinder is a game changer, and the results taste just like a coffee shop, without leaving home.

You Control the Brew – Being semi-automatic, you c

The Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine with Burr Grinder combines freshness, control, and quality in one sleek package. Its built-in burr grinder produces a consistent grind, essential for proper espresso extraction, and offers multiple settings so you can tailor the grind to your beans and taste preferences. Fresh grounds feed directly into the portafilter, streamlining workflow and minimizing mess. The semi-automatic operation gives you control over shot timing, allowing for more customization than fully automatic machines. This makes it ideal for those who enjoy experimenting to perfect their espresso. The steam wand is powerful and produces dry steam, making it possible to create smooth microfoam for cappuccinos and lattes. With some practice, latte art is within reach. The stainless-steel build feels sturdy, heats quickly, and maintains consistent brewing pressure. Cleaning is straightforward, with removable components and a rinse cycle for the group head, though the grinder chute may need occasional extra attention. The only drawbacks are a slight learning curve for beginners and a footprint that requires counter space. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for coffee lovers who want café-quality drinks at home, balancing convenience with the satisfaction of hands-on brewing.

Simple to use. Even for a newbie.

I’m a big coffee fan but totally new to espresso. This KitchenAid semi-automatic machine has been awesome so far. I’ve just pulled my third “successful” shot and I’m already getting the hang of it! It looked intimidating at first, but it’s actually really easy to use. My first shot was packed too tight and the machine shut off—turns out that’s a safety feature, which is nice. It’s simple, well-designed, and feels solid. Also, the packaging was fantastic. Super easy to unpack and set up. Overall, if you’re new to espresso but love coffee, this is a great machine to start with.
