Kramer Ceramic Rod Worth Every Penny

Had contemplated this purchase for a good long while. Should’ve done it sooner! This is an excellent companion to a quality honing steel. With regular use of both, you’ll not use a sharpening stone unless you damage the blade. Well engineered and sized. Getcha one!

Zwilling Bob Kramer ceramic sharpening rod

Just recent received my Zwilling Bob Kramer ceramic sharpening rod and have used it every day on various fine knives to bring them back to razor sharpness after use and a quick swipe across a leather strop. It’s a great complement to my original 40 year old Zwilling rod!

So far so good

We just got 3 or 4 days ago, but it was immediately evident on the knives we have sharpened so far... And we had let them go for a while! Very happy at this point

I use this rod between sharpenings. The ceramic cleans up my blade and gives it a little edge. It is lightweight and comfortable to hold.

A ceramic honing rod is a very effective sharpening tool. Ceramic sharpens steel very well but it is more fragile than a metal steel, If you are careful it will last a very long time.
