Size issue

I bought the purple shake-it-off tee shirt for my granddaughter and online the size was given as S,M, L etc. I ordered a large because that is the size she typically wears. When the shirt came the size inside said 10-12. If I'd have seen the numerical size I would have ordered and extra large. I don't understand why the sizing is so different from other companies. I had to reorder, and I lost my shipping discount because I only had one item. It was an Easter gift and it arrived late and my grand daughter watched her brother and sister open their gifts while she didn't have one. Now I don't see any way to return the original one. I won't order from LA POP Art again. This was vey disappointing.

Do not purchase

I bought washed and wrapped this for my daughter for Christmas. Did not notice the deformity of this shirt until she attempted to wear it. I took to macys to return and they said since it was from a 3rd party seller I would have to contact them about returning. I contacted the seller on February 1st and still have not received a response. Do to lack of quality and no response I recommend NOT purchasing this item.
