Perfect waterproof layer in Iceland's rain.

Perfect waterproof layer in Iceland's rain. This fit easily into my vacation luggage and into my hiking pack (compact and light!). The feminine, vibrant magenta color was brilliant in photos, even those taken in the flat northern light.

Very happy with purchase

I purchased this raincoat in the lilac petal last week, and it arrived today. I am very pleased with the color and fit. It’s roomy enough to fit a heavy sweater or fleece for cooler weather, and it’s light enough to pack easily into a carryon. It versatile enough that you can wear it with jeans or slacks. It’s perfect for traveling.

Well made except for the elastic sleeves.

Bought the royal magenta; such a pretty color that stands out in a crowd. Length covers my butt; sleeves are long enough although my jacket arrived with the elastic cuffs completely stretched out and useless. Tried rolling up the cuffs but wouldn't stay up b/c no elastic to hold it up. Keeping the jacket tho b/c I love the color; will figure out what to do about the sleeves.

Haven't Worn yet, but fit is great!

I purchased this jacket for my upcoming travels to Ireland, so I hear a rain jacket is an absolute MUST! I must give a Big Thank you Shout Out to Amy123 on here. It wasn't until I read her review that I figured out how to pack it up into the pocket. No video needed jut followed her directions. I'll add photos and an update on how well it holds up once I wear it.

Not waterproof

I bought this jacket last year for a trip to Ireland and didn't end up using it until recently. Water soaks through the fabric quickly. Walking from a store to my car in steady rain I can feel the moisture coming through. Took it off and can see the fabric being wet all the way through. Very surprised and disappointed. Didn't expect this from Lands' End.
