No two way zipper

Was going to buy this since everything is perfect except the zipper. The zipper is not a 2-way closure. I’m tired of buying jackets that can’t accommodate sitting in a car, on a chair or just sitting. Yes, it seems to give room for us gals with wider hips, but then it looks too large. What does it cost extra to have this kind of zipper put in initially? Thanks but no thanks.

Pocket zippers get stuck

I bought this jacket for a two week trip to Europe. The jacket was OK but the pocket zippers kept getting caught on the pocket lining making it impossible to get anything in or out of the pocket.

Disappointed: Returning Jacket

I was hoping to love this jacket,however, the fit was terrible. I’m 5’1” and weigh 130 lbs. and I ordered a petite medium. The sleeves come down over my hands, almost to the fingertips and the elastic is loose. Furthermore, the lower part of the jacket is way too wide across the hips. I’m sending it back.

Perfect for rain and layering

I brought this in the summer for a trip I was taking this fall to an area that would have changing weather. This was Perfect! It is truly waterproof, one day it poured cats and dogs, and I was in and out of the rain and it kept me dry. I also used it for layering since it was cool in the mornings and warmer in the afternoon, it was not too heavy and did not overheat. I had on a 3/4 sleeve T-shirt, a zip-up sweatshirt and this jacket, it was the right combination for changing weather. Temps were 50's in AM and high 60's , low 70's in afternoon. I used this on a combination cruise /train trip. It was long enough to cover my crossbody purse underneath safely, finally for my plus size sisters, it covered the hips nicely and comfortably. Definitely worth the price. Ordering another one in Navy.

Not what I would call waterproof

I absolutely love the color and fit of this raincoat. However, I was soaked to the bone this past weekend when wearing though a steady shower. More what I would call water resistant, definitely not waterproof.

I bought this coat a month ago. On rainy and windy mornings I wear it when walking my dog. It keeps me warm and resists the rain. Love that the hood has an extended bill…I don’t have to wear a cap underneath!

Kept me dry

This is a well made garment. Waterproof and comfortable. Comes in a variety of pleasing colors. I like the bungee cord adjustable waist. Unlike some, the hood stays where it should and does not fall over my eyes. Fits well but sleeves are long for petite. The one negative is that I can feel the coolness of the rain through the material, not wet, but it chills me. Next purchase I might go with the LandsEnd rain jacket that has a fleece lining in the top part and hopefully will not make the train jacket too warm in summer.

Perfect travel jacket

Bought this rain jacket for my fall trip to Italy. So glad I did! Packs small but perfect for my needs. Very rain and wind resistant. I bought black of course but the other colors were tempting. It runs big. I assumed I needed a large but the medium was just right. 5’6”, 150.
