Starfish pants

I was hoping that these pants were identical to some purchased about 5 years ago. But the fit is looser than the other pair. I like the material and the color but not the fit.

Runs small.

These are nice pants. Nice fabric (not too thin or thick). Washes well, but the sizing is a bit off. The run on the small side. I think if I went up a size, they would be too big.

Unflattering pants

These pants are unflattering on my body. The legs are too wide and the pocket do not lay flat. They might be nicer if they were longer or had a more narrow leg.

Love the ankle length and the pintuck detail

I bought these pants mainly because the ankle length means that I won’t need to hem them to fit my 29” inseam.  I like the pintuck styling on the front.  I do not like the front pockets that gape open on the sides or the back pockets that add bulk.  I love the starfish fabric in the mid rise straight leg pants, but it’s too bulky to make the pockets look good.  I may sew the front pockets shut to prevent them from gaping open. The waistband is significantly larger than it is in the mid rise straight leg pants..
