What has happened to Lands End quality?

The Lands End’s jeans were way below the quality I expected from Lands End. The moment I opened the package I knew I would not keep them. They looked like a rag, both the color and the jeans themselves. What has happened to Lands End quality? Very expensive and definitely not worth it.

Terrible tapered leg that ruins these pants

Why can’t these be cut like the Starfish Straight leg? They are cut like pencil jeans that are tight from knee down but loose in the hip/thigh area. Returned them…

Very poor fit

I bought this because it was on special, and I thought it would be a change from always buying black. Unfortunately it was a very poor fit, so had to be returned.

Stinky, stinky, stinky!

Soft, very comfortable but can’t stand the smell! Disgusting odor almost makes me sick after many washings.

Smelly jeans

I bought two pairs of these jeans and was really looking forward to receiving them. When they came I noticed a very awful strong chemical smell and hoped washing and drying would remove the smell. I washed them and dried them before wearing as per the instructions but it didn’t remove the smell. Even my daughter commented on the fact that my jeans had a “mothball smell”. I can’t wear them it’s so bad. Wish I could return them but of course I washed and dried them per the instructions.

Smelly jeans that fit great

Great fit, but the stench of mothballs is yucky. I’ve washed them a few times but still get the odor. They look and feel great though!
