Bad chemical smell

These knit jeans are unwearable, due to a strong chemical odor that won't wash out. There are reviews with comments about this going back months, but clearly the problem still hasn't been fixed. I would skip these.

Didn't fit quite right

These are very nice - but the rise is too high, even in the petite. Usually a mid-rise comes up to my waist (which is fine), but these went up to 2-3 inches above my waist. They are a nice fabric, and the waist is soft and "forgiving".

Fabric is too fragile.

Love the look and comfort but they are not durable. They aren’t for people with animals. Fabric gets runs and pulls all over them. They will soon be only for in the house jeans.

Pull on jeans

Very comfortable, no break-in required. I am donating all of my other jeans because these jeans are all I will be wearing. They washed nicely. With normal wear, the jean stays up at the waist, but with yardwork, I noticed I was pulling them up frequently. I would’ve worn a belt if there were belt loops. I just ordered another pair of these jeans in a lighter color for summer. They are a nice weight and have a little bit of spandex in them for fit. I am a size 14/16, 175 pounds, and ordered a size large. They couldn’t have fit any better.

The worst!!!

I always bought the "original" starfish jeans and few years ago. Purchased their revised version and they are awful. I feel like I'm wearing old lady pants. They don't hold their shape and get so baggy. Please, please, please bring back the original version with the original quality!!! PLEASE

Comfortable

I love my Starfish jeans . So comfortable. They are knit, so they don’t hold up like a true denim against yardwork and dogs nails.
