VERY pleased with this product. Although the directions said it took "a few minutes", it did take me longer to brew the espresso. HOWEVER, it was one of the best lattes I ever had - let alone, one that i made myself!! it was not bitter - the perfect brew! the filter is hard to take out at first, but that's because it has to be be a tight fit for the pressure/percolator to work right! wayyyy better than my old electric espresso maker! overall, great latte as the end product. and i would definitely share with my friends/family :)

This does not make true espresso

This does not make true espresso; but it is quick and easy to use to make a strong coffee brew that does taste good with good beans. I recommend a pump espresso machine if you want espresso; but some people like this coffee maker's strong coffee.

Love it!

I had an aluminum espresso maker and bought the stainless steel version. It works great and so easy to take off the stove. I love to see if the espresso is done and can lift the cover because the lid is stainless steel. Love it!

Stove top expresso maker

I thought I had one of these a number of years ago. It looked very much the same but it was not. This one is a poorly made copy. The handle has a poor attachment, the basket is smaller which makes a weaker expresso and the seal is silicone! Just try to get it out by hand. I suggest that you stay clear of this one.
