Beautiful dress, proportions a bit unusual

I bought this dress for an outdoor wedding and it was SO CLOSE to being just what I was looking for. The dress and pattern are beautiful and it drapes really nicely. I'm picky about dress length and this was perfect - right to the floor with small heels on (I'm 5'7"). While it looks form-fitting, the skirt does drape down nicely and I think a wide variety of shapes would work well with the dress. Unfortunately, the bust area just didn't work for me. I'm not sure if it was smushed in shipping or if it is a design situation, but the bra cup area just wouldn't lay right and I had some gapping in the side-boob area (I am a 32C). I would try this exact style again just to see if this was a shipping/folding issue, or, if I had more time I would get it tailored.

The almost perfect Mother of the Bride dress

So glad I found the perfect dress for my daughter's wedding in California in August. I'm so glad your professionals sent me a size larger than I would normally wear, it fits perfectly, and the smaller size would not have fit. There is one small flaw in the dress. One of the built-in cups on the left side, the fabric over it is not taut over the cup and has to be adjusted by a seamstress. This dress in my size is out of stock, so I will have to have the alteration done rather than exchange it. Not a big deal but glad I have a good seamstress. The colors are perfect for my daughter's upcoming wedding and any dresses I saw online from unknown manufacturers looked cheap or too bedazzled. This dress is gorgeous and after being mailed in a plastic bag, the dress didn't have one wrinkle and will travel well from Florida to California for the wedding in August. Bloomingdales offers the best ladies wear and customer service is the BOMB. Thank you for having this beautiful dress, it's perfect for the wedding.
