Lovely jumper - shape, fit and colour exactly as hoped. However a major disappointment with the yarn which has pilled from day one making my new jumper look instantly worn. Contrary to this I have a Polo 100% cashmere jumper that has performed wonderfully and never pilled in the slightest over many years of frequent wear, I was lulled into thinking that the same or similar standard would apply to a wool cashmere blend.

Nice enough but not like the 80's
Nice sweater. Part of a pairing with a plaid with coordinating colors. Lauren always has such attractive plaids and prints. I'm sometimes disappointed that the quality of these items are not what they would have been 30 or 40 years ago, but the prices are twice what they would have been. Back then, this sweater would have been all cashmere

Modern take on a fisherman knit
I wanted a modern version of the fisherman knit. The cashmere content (not 100%) was a plus and contributed to the softness. Style is more short waisted but I am 5'7" -- so still a good length. I believe it runs small - I am SX or S but M was perfect-- all depends on the fit you want. The creme color is beautiful. Again nothing weird - no sparkles, holes, shoulder gathers, etc. since its not 100% cashmere - I may dry clean to prevent shrinkage. I wash 100% cashmere sweaters. I would buy this classic well-made sweater in another color if still available

Nice sweater, thistle color not quite as pictured
This is a lovely, high-quality sweater. The thistle color has a lot more pink in it than is pictured, so if you're looking for softer lilac/light purple color, this is not for you (it wasn't for me). Also, this is a bulky yet fitted sweater, so I felt like I looked a bit heavier than I was in it (maybe the pseudo-puffed sleeves which really aren't made me look a little like a linebacker?). I think it probably looks better on a slimmer person. If I lost a few pounds, I might try it in a medium in a different color.
