love the bag!

I purchased this bag because of the strap, I love it! it makes a statement with this beautiful peppled leather and the color is versatile to wear with anything & any season. it's the perfect deminsions too! not to big not to small. it fits my large wallet, makeup bag, phone, sunglasses and small bottle of 1oz. of perfume and it snaps shut! thank goodness. I receive so many compliments on it too, which is an added bonus. if you're contemplating purchasing, don't you won't regret it. I just am grateful that I received it on sale. very classy bag. my first LRL bag & now I want the matching wallet, oh and I love how the magnetic snap stays snapped with all my essentials. also if you're petite like myself it doesn't look like a piece of luggage on me, one piece of advice, before you purchase look at the deminsions. people saying it looks like a child's bag is because they didn't read or take the deminsions & compare to another bag they might own. I hope this helps you ladies!

Wrong description

Purse is cute. Great size but description states that webbed strap is detachable and it's not. It's adjustable but it's not detachable. Too bad.

Shoulder strap doesn't detach!

As with all of Lauren Ralph Lauren handbags, it is beautiful & well made. It's a great size for a wallet, brush, keys, mask & gloves. The description indicated the shoulder strap detaches but it doesn't. I will be able to tuck the straps inside the bag to hold it by the handles but, I was a little disappointed about that. The Lauren tan is gorgeous! Fun side note: I discovered, to my delight, it fits inside my Lauren Dryden satchel perfectly, like an inner tote organizer. During the work week, I have everything I need for the commute. Then in the evening or weekend, I can just pull the mini out if I need to run to the store or go grab dinner. Super cute bag, I purchased it during the Holiday sale so the price was perfect! I am definitely keeping it. I wish it came in Navy Blue! Maybe next Christmas? P.S. I love that this brand always includes a dust bag! Such a classy company!
