Too tight in the arms

I have always stayed in my Ralph Lauren size - 2 or S. Trying the shirt, size S, I found that the sleeves are uncomfortably tight, though I have skinny arms. I had to return it. What's going on with the sizing?

Lovely style

Fabric is heavier than expected and is synthetic. BUT, the style is so good and flattering that I love it! I’m between a small and medium and chose a medium and it fits well.

Comfortable button-up

This shirt fits well even if you are curvy or thin, it just feels nice on your skin and it looks dressy with jeans.

Disappointing

This top was a bit disappointing. Although it was well made and fit according to the size, the buttons were too far apart and created a gap when sitting. I also found the fabric, though thick, felt like cheap polyester- definitely not what I'm used to from other RL purchases I've made. Loved the color and style but I decided to return this item.
