Well Made, Interestingly Draped, Beautiful Color

I bought this dress for an early September wedding in England. I am between sizes, so I ordered it both in 12 and 14. My first impression in opening the shipping box was how well packaged the dresses were on hangers held by a loop on the interior. The color is beautiful, a deep sapphire that does wonders for my complexion (my skin has pink undertones). When I pulled them out, I immediately had second thoughts because the fabric is a heavy, lined jersey. Not the best choice for packing for international flight, but if the fit was flattering, I’d pack it somehow, or wear it on the flight! Unfortunately, regardless of the size I tried on, my tummy bulge was prominent. So both dresses went back. I gave the dress 4 stars because the fabric and style was not for me, but if your body is evenly proportioned and you plan to wear it in cooler seasons, go for it. It’s well made, an interesting drape and a beautiful color.

This is the perfect LBD when you need to be dressed simply but elegantly. Can definitely dress it up with jewelry.
