[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the Le Creuset 2.5 Qt. Cast Iron Rice Pot in Cerise color. Watched a YouTube how to video for this rice pot, along with the cooking measurement chart on back package of Carolina enriched white rice extra long grain. Added butter (unsalted) and salt. Cooked rice was delicious.

My favorite Le Creuset item ever. Cooks the perfect pot of rice every time.

Had to try it right away and I was amazed at how perfect my rice came out, I did go to U-Tube to see how to use it, wonderful and is an elegant serving piece too. Have been making recipes that involve rice! just to have an excuse to use it! Love it

I wasn't quite sure about this. It's just me and my husband these days, and I had one of the smallest electric rice cookers available, and still, making what we would finish always left some waste in the pot. Also, it seemed to take forever, and sometimes, even after letting it rest and fluffing it, the rice was still unpleasantly damp. ( We eat medium grain rice, done Japanese style) This narrow tall little pot is (please excuse the shouting) PERFECT! I can make the perfect amount and it comes out just like a Japanese restaurant in Japan. The American style long grain turns out, too. Very much recommend.
