Sank on the Maiden Voyage!

I was initially excited to get this, but now I'm disappointed. I've used Le Crust before so I know these are usually quality products. But - on it's maiden voyage, the kimchi mac and cheese dish I wanted to serve burned, and the pot has been very difficult to clean. I don't know if it was the pot or the recipe, but I'll have to reconsider how to use this pot in the future.

I have the meringue and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Not only is it a great size to cook in but a beautiful decor piece to have on my stove.

Fun, beautiful, and functional

I got the pumpkin colored (persimmons) version of this pot. It's as advertised and seems to be of the same high quality that Le Creuset is known for. No blemishes at all. I haven't used it to cook yet so maybe I should really wait to review, but it looks very nice. The design is so elegant. That handle is something. I had been thinking of the Staub pumpkin cocotte, but this one simply looked better. Additionally, the Le Creuset has more capacity and weighs less. That's what sold me on it this most.
