Could've given a 5 if not for...

the flaw with the coating on both handles. Doesn't affect the performance. But I expect perfection from Le Creuset. I'm thinking of returning it for an exchange if Macy's would allow.

Everything that I'd expected it to be.

This is my first Le Creuset piece, and I'm not at all disappointed. The quality is excellent, and it's a piece that I am proud to show off in my kitchen. It's sturdy, heats well and looks attractive in the bargain! I will definitely be buying more cookware of this caliber.
