What kind of gold?

The earrings look beautiful, though a little too heavy for my ears. But the main concern is that after one day to wear them, they left greenish black marks on my ears! I don’t understand what kind of gold is this, none of my gold jewelry ever left any marks before! Had to return these earrings!
