Amazing Product and Amazing Company
My daughters have this bakery set and they absolutely LOVE it! We were missing a piece and I contacted the company. I cannot say enough about the customer service. They were very helpful and my daughters were thrilled to receive a replacement in the mail. We love all of our Learning Resources toys!

A great fun game food set!
My children really love this set they love playing with the egg and the bread slices. The egg is great although the yolk can be fiddly to put in to the shell to start with. My son loves making up different flavour pies and asking how much pie I would like. The set consists of a piece of dough and four cookies in different shapes and colours this is the highlight of the set. We all enjoy picking out the cookies with the suction cup.

Everything Your Little Baker Needs!
My son was really excited to play with the Bakery Set. He thought the fact that you could really crack a pretend egg and have a yolk come out was so cool. It offers realistic, hands-on play since you can crack open the egg, so it's great practice! The egg shells are kind of hard to put back together especially with putting the yolk back in side, but my son doesn't care and loves it anyways. The set also introduces parts of a whole with a sliceable 3-piece loaf of bread and a pie that has three 2-piece slices. Your child can fill the pie with fruit and you match the fruit with the colors. So this is a great way to practice colors with your child as well. The bread is held together with velcro and you can cut it with the pretend knife that comes with the set. The bread is made of plastic and is kind of squishy so it's a little difficult to cut. Our favorite part of the set is the cookies. It comes with a rolling pin and a slice of pretend dough that has shapes already cut in it. Then you take the cookie cutter that has a suction cup on it and pick up the cookies with it and place it on the tray. Overall we thought this was a great product and highly recommend it!

Great idea poor quality
My child loves this set, however, less than a week after we bought it the painting of the egg, peach and pear started to come off. I have put those items away to avoid her swallowing paint chips. Additionally the strawberry's Velcro is faulty

Lots of cool features, a few glitches
My daughter loves this set! It has so many cool features. Her favorites are the cookie cutter with the suction cup on it, the squishy bread (with velcro) that you can slice apart, and the pies. Oh, and the velcro on the bread even kind of looks like pats of butter! I noticed that many of the movements my daughter makes while using this set--rolling the rolling pin, slicing the bread, and using the cookie cutter--strengthen the exact muscles needed for handwriting. (I'm a former teacher.) I was disappointed that we had a few problems the first day we opened the set. The velcro came off the strawberry the first time my daughter pulled apart the 2 halves. I just super glued it afterwards, but still. The egg shell is also way too difficult to put together. I can barely do it. We had problems with the pie crust tops popping off the crust bottoms the first day, but mysteriously, that problem went away within a few days! Maybe those pieces just needed time to adjust to our humidity levels or something? Despite these issues, the set is so worth it! The bread, cookie cutters, and pies are just too cool! Plus, you get so many different pieces.

Fine but not great
We just recieved this as a Christmas present for my daughter. It's only November so we haven't given it to her. I will probably just return it... It's cute and there are parts of it that she will enjoy, but also things that will frustrate her. The inside of the egg is made with durable thick plastic, but the shell is made of flimsy plastic. You have to squish the inside into the shell, which misshapes the shell and makes it nearly impossible to close, even for an adult. The lids on the pie pieces are misshapen and do not stay closed. You can push them down, but then they click back off. The bread is not made of hard plastic, but more like a dog's squeeky toy, without the squeek. It doesn't keep its shape if you use any pressure to hold it down while cutting it. The cookie "cutter" is really just a knob with a suction cup on one side. I'm not completely sure how it's even supposed to work. My daughter loves cutting out shapes with cookie cutters and would love having actual cookie cutters that are the same shapes of the cookies. Everything else in the set is just your average plasic cooking set.

A fantastic aid to ...
A fantastic aid to imaginative play, teachers commented on how good this toy was at promoting speaking and listening between children. It was enjoyed by boys and girls alike, and the versatile nature of the set gave it long-term appeal. An excellent addition to the play-room
