So much fun!

My students love this set! I love to see them use their imaginations. The lid is hard to put back on the ice cream carton and the disk of the lid deprecated from the gram easily, otherwise this is a fantastic product!

Cute

My son LOVES the ice cream man and all things ice cream so we got him this to make believe with at home. He had fun with it for a little while but the pieces don't all fit together so the whipped cream and cherry don't stay on the ice cream. Our set only came with one banana when it is pictured on the box with two. We wished that the set had a little more care put into it. But, we will still get it out on rainy days to play Ice Cream Shop and I'm sure we'll have fun. One side note is that we feel guilty about the fact that this is made out of plastic. We try to be eco-friendly and this was definitely not that kind of purchase. I wish that more toy companies would opt for using recycled plastics or other alternatives like cornstarch to make more biodegradable, sustainable and environmentally friendly toys. Toys end up in land fills and plastics take hundreds of years to decompose.

Fun for all ages!

I love the ice cream scooper because it has a suction cup on the scooper so you can actually "scoop" the ice cream. Then if you hit the release button on the scooper, then it will release the ice cream right into your bowl or cone! My son thought that was pretty cool. The pretend chocolate syrup bottle has a piece of brown string hanging down so you can pretend that you are putting chocolate sauce on your ice cream. My son loves the Pretend & Play Ice Cream Shop and we play almost daily. I have almost as much fun as Tobin does! It's a lot of fun and not only does it help Tobin with his colors, but it also teaches him hand-eye coordination and cooperation.
