Lots of magnets in different sizes for fun STEM learning

This bumper set is great for teaching kids about the properties of magnets as it contains 119 colourful pieces that are ideal for setting up experiments and challenges. My daughter wanted to test the pieces out on her own so I let her play around and experiment before we followed any of the activities included in the Activity Guide. She loved sorting the Magnetic Chips into their colours, and we used the Magnetic Wands to match and sort the colours. We also loved testing the wands to see how many of the chips we could pick up in one go. She enjoyed linking the ball magnets to see if she could pull them along, and turning them the opposite way around to see how they repel each other. It's been a fun way to teach her about the properties of magnets, including polarity and I've also been using the lessons from this set to teach her about the North and South Poles when we look at a map of the world, and to help her understand how a compass works. This set is lovely for home learning and would be ideal for a classroom as well.

So much fun!!

We got this as an extension to the smaller magnet kit, which my girls already love!! It comes with so many pieces to play with. I have done some more lead activities with them but most of all they just enjoy playing and experimenting themselves. A popular game so far has been picking up card fish with paper clips on the ends. They enjoy building, testing objects around the house, colour sorting and love making the magnets jump or bounce off each other when they attract and repel. They are bright and attractive, and they are learning so much through play. We have also extended this and learnt how a compass works. They even enjoy tiding it away, each has a magnet wand and collects all the pieces!!

Magnet fantastic

This kit comes with lots of different size magnets. Brilliant for a few children to all play at once. All four of my children love learning how magnets work and interact with each other. My five year old has taken them all over the house to test which materials are magnetic. But the best part is they don't even know they are learning. They are just having lots of fun! The kit also comes with ideas for parents on experiments to use the magnets. But in my experience children will learn naturally by exploring themselves.

I love this magnets.

This magnets are perfect to play and learn. I used them to discover metalic things and compare with other materials, It's perfect for different ages. There are many posssibilities: put a cardboard in between a magnet and a clip and move it. Hide metalic things and the one that find the most is the winner. discover how some magnets are stronger than others, make a compass with a needle... It's fun-tastic!

Great Starter Magnet Set!

I received this Super Magnet Lab to review and my kids LOVED it! My husband also uses it in his 2nd grade classroom! Most of the magnets are super heavy duty and durable. This set works perfectly for individuals or small groups. I love the activity guide that comes with it as it has a lot of great ideas.
