2 years agoGood Compliment to Farm/Small Town Set
Picked this up for an larger pumpkin/Christmas tree farm display. It’s a little pricy for just a hand sized tractor, trailer and misc squirrel and ladybug but if that will mix well with your play style, it’s a good easy to find basic.

We got this mostly for the squirrel but also because my son loves to build parks out of Lego and this is a great addition to his park builds.

It's pleasant to look at, it's got a bunch of bouncy rubber wheels, everything fits in the trailer with a little sleight of hand, and it's got a cute squirrel with appropriate accoutrements. What more can you ask for?... Well, either a flower or a carrot to go with the green stalks, so you could show them growing into something. Or one darker brown extra soil piece to represent that it's been watered. Or a single translucent blue stud to put on the pail so you could have it be full of water and empty it after you're done watering the plants. I dunno, it just feels like the set could've been absolutely fantastic with like 2-4 extra little bits. As it stands it's a really good set and I do recommend it, it's not a poor value. It just feels like for a negligible increase to the set's production cost, to sprinkle in just a couple extra teeny pieces, it could've had a lot more play value and by extension feel properly "complete".
