It is Chinese New Year NOT Lunar
The set is great! Fun and accurate Chinese traditions for Chinese new year. I do not understand why it is called Lunar New Year, as Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival (春节 Chunjie), is based on the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. It is originated from ancient China (BC 2000), based on the Chinese Calendar, follows the Chinese Zodiac and cerebrated with Chinese traditions. It is by definition Chinese New Year. The actual lunar new year is in July and celebrated by many other cultures, which Lego should also respect. If you really do not want to use the word “Chinese”, please do not use Chinese culture either. It is not okay to present all Chinese elements and traditions but not to call it Chinese New Year!

You need this one
My child enjoyed building this, too bad it doesn't rotate on its own. The detail is amazing. I'm so happy that this was added to our Lunar New Year collection.

Spectacular and True to Traditions!
Best set ever! I love the amount of details this set has and how wonderful of a representation to the lunar new year in my opinion. Thank you Lego for coming up with different cultural representation in your Lego sets and making it available in my region!

Love the details & learn about Chinese tradition
I’m super excited about this set, I’m Chinese and my child is half Chinese and he loves LEGO. What better way to show him his heritage in a medium he loves most.

Response from LEGO
We love hearing how our fans create wonderful memories building together! Thank you for letting us know this set helped share traditions with your young builder!
Love it! Recommendation?
I love this build. Each scene has its own separate booklet instructions, which I love. It’s great for friends and family to build with you. Each scene is very packed with a story to tell. Hey Lego, I have a recommendation for you. Start including little bios and backgrounds for each scene and New Year set, it would be great for people that aren’t familiar with the holiday (like me).
