Gorgeous ROUND platter, not very big
The photo is wrong, this item is not oval, it is ROUND. The item description states it is round. It measure 12.5" in diameter, so it is not very big. I have attached a photo comparing this platter to the dinner plates. Unfortunately, my platter was damaged in transit, but Macy's replaced it without any fuss. It is very beautiful, the hand painted scene with metallic accents really makes it. It's too bad there aren't more pieces (and larger ones) to this collection, as it really is gorgeous. I hope Lenox doesn't discontinue this holiday collection, I really enjoy using it every holiday season.

I should have read the description of this platter rather than going on the picture. I thought it was an oval platter as shown in the photo. When it arrived, I was surprised it was round and not oval. I rechecked my order and saw it is described as a "round platter". Don't be fooled by the picture!! Now I have to make a trip to the store to make a return.
Beautiful platter and great quality and design
It is a beautiful platter for holidays celebrations. Beautiful design, traditional yet modern. Quality is great and the fact it is microwave and dishwasher safe even with the golden touches is a plus.

small for a platter
The design is really nice .But as much as I would like to keep it, I have to return ,it's small for a platter and the price. I just hope they put in the sizes of these collection.
