Classic and Modern
I registered for this flatware for our wedding 6 months ago. I am so happy with our selection. This flatware pattern is classic yet modern at the same time. I also really like that the size of the flatware is standard and not oversize--the forks and spoons feel comfortable in your mouth. We use them everday. We wash them in our dishwasher, and they come out shiny and bright each time. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend.
Nice flatware, but a pain to get stickers out...
We are happy with the design. However, they come with stickers on the knives that are incredibly hard to remove and leave the "gunk" behind. After scrubbing each knife for 5-10 minutes each, you can still see where the label was and the knife ends up scratched easily! Would not expect these to scratch so easily for such a high price. I wish Macy's would not stick the sticker on the knife, why not on the plastic sleeve? Is it even necessary as it comes in a box with a UPC label already?

This is great flatware for an elegant look at the dinner table, but can also be easily washed in the dishwasher. there are also coordinating serving pieces. I use this with the federal platinum china and stemware from my wedding 6 years ago and it still looks great!
Simply Gorgeous!
This set is just as the title says - simply gorgeous! Not only that, but highly durable and convenient. I have a set of 12 place settings and two each of the serving/hostess/entertaining sets. (can't have too many!) I've used the set a few times with my formal china and casual china (although I'm trying to use it only with the formal, but that's hard to do!). After each use, I throw it in the dishwasher - all crammed together. Not a scratch! And still just as shiny as the day I bought it. Together with all the serving pieces, the shine & elegant design really stand out on a set table. And using it is great too - just the right size & weight. I receive compliments every time. If I had to buy another set, I'd buy another one of these. I highly recommend the Federal Platinum!

Great set of flatware. The style is timeless and the quality is superb. I would say it's worth the investment to have a set of good flatware that will last you for a lifetime. I'd highly recommend Lenox flatware!
