Surprise piece

I thought I had every piece to this Nativity and this donkey appeared. Of course I have added him to the pieces. Every year there is at least one or two more additions. I'm going to run out of room before long. But they are so special.

Love

I purchased this one before even the sheep and wasn't disappointed. I love that the donkey is carrying provisions from the trip to Bethlehem. I love the gold accents on him (and all the pieces) but also the burnt orange. The way he turns his head gives him personality.

Lovely addition to nativity

This was a lovely addition to my nativity set from Lennox. I have limited space on the table I put this each year and the donkey with the colorful markings was a perfect fit. I have the wise men, Mary, Joseph and the Christ Child as well as the two angels but the donkey can't be left out for he had a special part in the transportation of the Holy Family. The colors match everything in the set and the donkey has a soft look about him that does not draw attention away from the other pieces but the burst of red color on his saddle and bridle add a perfect contrast to the other pieces. I received this piece right before Christmas and will cherish it for years to come.
