Surprise surprise!

It surprised me it was a cereal bowl in size. description read "all-purpose bowl," I thought it meant a mixing or serving bowl in size. The pattern is beautiful in person. Picture doesn't do it justice.

It's a bowl!

It's a bowl! Quite a bit small than I had anticipated. Great size for a soup bowl in accompaniment to a dinner plate, or salad. A little small for an "all purpose bowl" (i.e.: cereal) in my opinion. As these are my everyday dishes I want them for my everyday uses. But the design is beautiful, just as I had hoped.
