Not as loose as they appear in the picture

I had hoped these would be loose and comfy fitting; I normally wear a 6 curvy in jeans, and bought these in a large. They fit me closely through the thigh area, which was a disappointment. They're also made for taller women, as they come to my ankles (I'm 5' 4"). I kept them because they're comfortable.
