More mid rise than what I consider low rise

I consider these more mid rise than low rise. I measured and according to the sizing guide I should have gotten a 31 which I did. They are looser and I could have went with a 30 for a better fit. They are very comfortable and the length is a little long for me I should have ordered a shorter length but that was on me. Good quality though.
