Horrible for gaming
Worked good for the first week or two... The 480hz 1920x1080 is horrible your screen is so fuzzy you can't read desktop titles.. I got this for gaming but at 480hz its unplayable. 3840x2160 244hz is good when it works. Every time I boot my computer up the monitor flashes white with static then I have to unplug the monitor and plug it back in and it works. Then the reticle option doesn't work half the time. The buttons on the back of the monitor doesn't work half the time too. So all in all... be prepared to unplug this thing and plug it in EVERY SINGLE TIME you boot your pc up or boot up a full screen game.

OLED Titan
I bought this monitor mainly for high-performance gaming and it delivers a good experience in spades. I wasn't sure if this model featured integrated speakers, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it did, and they had enough volume and presence for my needs. The OLED screen is vivid and contrasty, making content consumption very enjoyable. Other monitors came up during my search in this product space, but I settled on this one based on my previous experience with LG and the completeness of the product features, which for me included G-sync, the aforementioned speakers, and very high available refresh rates. I do not like curved monitors and would not have chosen one unless it was free. One press of the dedicated button shoots the maximum refresh rate up to 480 Hz, which exceeds my requirements at this point. The self-maintenance functions provided me with some reassurance, keeping in mind that OLED screens need to be cared for with their special characteristics in mind. I'm thrilled with this purchase and happily have a pair of LG screens (one IPS, mainly for work and this one), giving my setup a clean look.

2000 hours and a year later... So close to perfect
To start off, this has been my absolute favorite display to use over the past year. I am nearing 2000 hours of usage with no visible signs of burn-in at all. I almost always keep the monitor brightness at 90+ and switch between Low and High max brightness depending on how bright my room is. As a semi-professional competitive gamer, 480hz is an absolute must-have for the most serious gamers (however it's not for everyone and save some money if 4k240 is all you need). The "matte" coating is also very glossy compared to standard TN/IPS matte, while also having the benefits of diffusing light. This is huge for me because I sit near a window, and completely gloss panels would just annoy me. As much as I love this monitor, I have some criticisms that come from the heart. The main area where this monitor lacks is that the HDR of WOLEDs are supposedly more washed out compared to QD-OLED panels. However, peak brightnesses of WOLEDs are much higher which makes sparkles really shine. With the newer RGWB subpixel layout (instead of older WRGB), there is much better text clarity and sharpness around edges, but some colors like yellow for HDR gets washed out because the subpixels required to produce a more vibrant color aren't as close to each other. I have a theory that due to this, LG's factory calibration tools ended up making the Gamer 1 profile of this monitor much more washed out, despite it being labeled as the Vesa certified HDR profile. Switching the game mode over to Gamer 2 turns up the saturation a tiny bit, but going to the FPS and RTS modes actually cranks up the brightness of the colored subpixels. I think some contrast setting is higher, however the "pop" of the monitor in HDR is even better than QD-OLEDs, yet the setting remains hidden and most reviewers are telling users to stick to the most washed out profile. Either that, or the W subpixel may have been incorrectly calibrated, so the rest of the colors look dull in comparison. Regardless, colors could be much more vibrant for the HDR when they are not by default. Additionally, my last complaint is the Windows HDR calibration tool is broken for this monitor. With Nvidia GPUs and the Nvidia Overlay enabled, the calibration tool will clip at 600 nits and this monitor's full brightness experience is also reduced. Disabling Nvidia's overlay and putting the game mode to FPS or RTS will now have the tool clip at 2700 nits instead. However, this is still very wrong because my luxmeter will measure that peak brightness is 1300 nits regardless. Many people online are calibrating this setting wrong, and it is only up to LG to push a firmware fix to correct the right peak brightnesses. If LG can look into my 2 issues with deep intent, then this product would be a perfect 10/10. Unfortunately, the panel is held back by its own programming.

Happy EOFYs
This is my 3rd LG OLED display, I'm happy with my purchase considering the picture quality. The only negatives are that the speakers become redundant next to desktop speakers which have better sound quality. Also a negative is the OnScreen control software - it takes quite a while for the software to recognize a dual screen setup - I use two different LG OLED screens with different settings. My smaller LG comes with a remote which makes things a lot more convenient.

Awesome Gaming Monitor
I have had this monitor for a few weeks now and its been great! The dual monitor is the best thing about this monitor. I play single player games on the 4k 240hz which are so immersive and out of this world. Then I also like to switch up to FPS multiplayer games so the 1080p 480hz mode is so crisp in its response times. Best of both worlds!

Lovely colors, size, excellent latency, definition
If you can find a good deal on the monitor it’s really excellent. I was very concerned at first because the input switching wasn’t working for me. Searching Google the answer was simple - use a different HDMI cable. And you know what? It works perfectly now. I have an OLED tv from Light at is also excellent, but in a bright room can have a lot of glare. I guess the complaint about this screen is that there is more noticeable gradients and pixelation - well, it’s a compromise either way essentially. A glossy tinted screen covering would resolve that issue but create glare…. I’m good with it. If you’re having issues try a different cable!
