I purchased this for a road trip, (yet realize now I can take it anywhere). I desired the option of 'hands free'--- but I surely didn't want an over powering bag, just something casual yet classy. Functional, too...something perfect for upscale cities and resorts but also when walking or hiking. {Seriously, it works either way}. This bag (from Paris) is lightweight, too, just 1.1 lbs..but the standout is the size. Not too small; not too big. PLUS (and this is major)...it allows you to hold hands with another without 'your purse' hitting your side or weighing down a shoulder. Add this: I now can hold BOTH grandkids hands-- while storing all 'the stuff' one needs when we go on our little adventures. I am happy I bought it. Very pleased.
