The quilt is very soft and well made! It’s bigger than I thought it was going to be. My son loves lying on it and trying to grab the planets. It’s also reasonably thick and heavy, so it will be great for winter, but it’s still nice for summer to spread out and have him lie on it!

I followed the instruction and washed before first use. I found the back of the blanket (the gray side) to have several large pulls in the material running across the blanket. I don’t know if they were present prior to washing but I was really disappointed to see several pulls in this beautiful and soft blanket. The Blanket is quite large and seems like a big kid blanket to me! Will last several years (size wise) as long as the material holds up. .
The quilt is soft and breathable. Not to heavy for my little guy. He can throw it off himself or easily wrap himself up for warmth. The size is perfect for his crib (he is 21 months old).
