Odor

Previous reviews are correct. The leather has an overwhelming musty odor. Impossible to eliminate. Returned after a week of trying to air out. Bought a Sak hobo bag instead which is beautiful and odor free!

I ordered this bag (in black) over the weekend and received it yesterday (October 29th). Before ordering it, I read one of the reviews, and the customer stated that it had a very bad smell. I thought that might just be an isolated situation and ordered it any way because the price was very reasonable for a leather bag. When I opened the package upon receiving it, a bad smell immediately hit my face. It is a classy bag and I had been looking for one like it for a while. Thankfully I have not removed the tags. I will keep it for a couple of weeks to see whether the smell would evaporate. I will definitely return it if the smell has not gone away by that time.

Great bag..

I just picked up this bag today and it is wonderful ! Pockets for everything. The leather is soft and supple. The only odor is a new leather smell that I'm sure will disappear in a short time and isn't offensive. If you like an organized purse, you can't go wrong with this one.

Smelly bag!

I thought it was my imagination but the bag does have an odor. I also took off the tags so I can’t return it. I love the bag and will try to gt the smell out.

Beautiful bag, horrible smell

I really love this bag, however the smell is horrible! Unfortunately, I removed the price tags, and cannot return it. I have tried Febreeze, leather cleaner and lightly sprayed with Lemon Lysol. I have it airing out and hope that smell will dissipate. Other than that, I love the color, compartments.
