Neck Cutout Way Too Tight

I like the quality of the shirt and feel of the material but the size of the neck cutout is so small I could barely get my head through. I have a thin, 6' 1" build and bought the XL. The length was a bit on the longer side. I returned it because it's practically unwearable due to the tiny neck cutout.
