P.S. To my review...

I ordered a 27 not a 26. So in short, I'm normally a 26 and the 27 fit perfectly, so I'd recommend ordering up one size in this style.

Perfect hybrid between high-rise and mid-rise

I tried these on in the store and thus was able to walk out with the correct size because they do run small; however, if you're someone who suffers from "diaper butt" when trying on most jeans, these are great! Plus, I can't wear high-rise jeans because they aggravate my endometriosis, so I was ecstatic to finally find a mid-rise jean. They're actually a little higher than what I'd consider a mid-rise, so they seem to still work with my shorter tops. For reference, I'm 5'5" and about 107-110 lbs. I usually wear a 26 or XS and in these I ended up walking out with a size 27. So if ordering online, I'd just say size up one size. It is true that Lucky's sizing is inconsistent because I got a similar pair in black but in a 26. My guess is the fabric has something to do with it. After reading the negative reviews, I thought I'd give my input because I just ordered a second pair after seeing they were on sale. P.S. I originally purchased a 4/26A, which I didn't realize stood for "ankle fit," but the length was perfect.
