Web ID: 17024523Severely damaged dress, unhelpful customer service
This dress came missing significant sections of beading. When I reached out to Mac Dougal they said a quality check is done before an item ships. Well this was a big mistake to let such a damaged item go out. Clearly it has been damaged before being put in the box as none of the missing beading was in the box. They told me to just return it and order another one but I had got the last dress in this style. So basically I was out of luck. The color of the dress was also way more grey and darker than shown in the pictures. Waste of my time trying to get help from their company. Clearly they did not care about the terrible quality of the $500 dress they had sent me. I will NEVER purchase from them again and I would say to look elsewhere first before considering one of their dresses.
Think Twice before buying a MACDUGGAL gown
I WOULD RATE MAC DUGGAL a ZERO if I could. I ordered this Silver Mac Duggall gown for my daughter's wedding coming up in October of this year. I waited a week for its delivery and all of a sudden I get a message from Macys that the seller decided to cancel my order. No further information was given. I have never heard such a crazy action taken by a Seller. I thought MacDuggal was an upscale reputable company but apparently it is not. No action to correct this was taken by Seller .Macys did refund me my money with no response from MacDuggal. Now I have to scurry to find another Silver gown for my daughter's wedding. Shameful Customer Service by Mac Duggal..
Damaged dress and no help from customer service
If I could give ZERO stars I would. I ordered this dress for my cousin's wedding and was very disappointed when it came and was missing a significant number of beading from 8 different spots on the dress. Anyone with eyes could see that this dress was damaged so I am not sure how it made it past quality control and into a box to be shipped out in the first place. I guess this greedy company just wanted to make as much money as they could even if that meant sending a damaged dress to a customer. Their customer service agent told me to return the dress and reorder it since Macy's does not facilitate exchanges for online orders. How am I suppose to reorder a dress that is now no longer available? The fact that these dresses cost HUNDREDS of dollars and the company does not care about the quality of the product they are sending customers is INSANE. I am disgusted by this experience and will not likely purchase from this company or Macy's again for that matter.
