The metal chrome is chipping off...

So i bought this bag when it first released, and about a week later when i simply took it out of my purse, i saw that the metal chrome that represents T'Challa's necklace is actually chipping off. I haven't used my bag since. I will still keep it because i love the look of it, but the quality could've been better.
