Overall I'm happy with this brush, it's soft and the fibers don't seem to fall out. It should be a little fuller if you really want to use it for applying blush. It's good for contouring and can be used under eyes, etc.
Well I can say this brush is used for a million reasons but what I love it for is setting the under eye with powder (studio fix powder nc35) absolutely obsessed!
This brush was recommended to me by one of the employees at MAC. I have a very small and slender face so this brush is perfect for me to apply just the right amount of highlight. This brush is so soft, and it could also be used to apply blush or to contour.
This is a great little brush! Not only will it apply blush exactly where you want it, but it also does a great a job with contouring & highlighting. I especially like to use it to contour the sides of my nose and for highlighting above cheekbones. I've even used it for soft "baking" under my eyes, and it does a great job there as well. If you have a smaller face, or you want a more precise application of blush/contour/highlighter, this is your brush!
I took a chance on this brush and ordered it after the reviews all praised it highly. I LOVE this brush. It's amazing for powder highlighter, and it works with MAC's strobe cream but I'm worried about dirtying the bristles and weighing them down with heavy creams. I personally don't like this for blush; I have another brush that I like to use because it gives a much more airbrushed look. However, this one is great for precise and pigmented application, so if you're into that, then this brush is for you! I haven't tried it with contour, but I imagine it won't blend well. It seems to be the type that's dense enough to give a poppin' glow, but not soft enough to blend at the same time. If you're looking for a softer blush application, I recommend the 168. Same goes for contour; the 168 is an angled brush with the same hairs that's less dense and makes contouring much more natural looking than the application this brush provides. You might be able to contour your nose, but I would stick with a smaller brush (preferably an eye brush) to keep those sharp lines. Otherwise, I am absolutely stunned by this little sucker. Amazingly soft as well! You won't regret it.
This is by far favorite highlight bush. I first tried it in a holiday kit, and shortly after purchased full size! I travel a decent amount, so the mini is perfect for travel! I'm so glad I found it as I don't think I've heard anyone talk about it.
I loved this brush so much that I literally own 3. I travel with one, and keep two at home for blush application and the other for either setting powder under my eye or for cheekbone highlight. The brush is super soft and the perfect size for applying color on the cheeks--a must have brush.
