I just received this comforter in the mail today. I really like the comforter; however, I’m very disappointed in the condition of it! The comforter has a huge (15” in diameter) dirt spot on it. Why would a new comforter be shipped in this condition?

I was waking up sweating this Summer even though my AC was on. I knew I needed to get a Summer quilt. Went to my go to MACYS and found this classy simple quilt in Ivory. I love that the matching shams came with it. It looks and feels amazing!!!

I’ve purchased this particular Madison quilt before (I have one on all my beds). They are true to size and I love how soft they are. They are well made and wash/dry nicely. However, there’s an issue with this one that I purchased at Macy’s. There’s something hard sewn into the quilt that appears to be a twig or something hard like that (I hope it’s not a bug). It can’t be removed as it is in between the material and sewn into the pattern. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice it until I put it on the bed and I was smoothing it out and felt the hard lump, I had to flip it over to the other side so it’s not as noticeable. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the weird particle sewn into the quilt. I’m hoping Macy’s reads this and contacts me to see what can be done assuming that I can’t return the quilt after it’s been opened.
