Ignore bad reviews, this is carbon steel

Ignore the previous 1 star reviews. This is not stainless steel or non-stick, it is carbon steel. It will rust if not taken care of and it is normal to discolor with use. This is a great traditional style paella pan that has a slightly rounded bottom to concentrate the heat to the center. I've made great paella many times on this pan and love it.

Poor Quality

It got rusted after only 1 washing. Very bad and cheap quality.

stained all over after one use

I was happy to find a small paella pan that could fit into my oven. As soon as i received the pan, I cooked some chicken tights with potatoes in it, first seared on the stovetop, then baked in the oven at 375F. The food came out fine but the pan was impossible to clean afterward. I soaked it in water with a little mild detergent and washed with non-abrasive sponge as directed, but the scorched spots won't come off. Worse, once the pan is dried, it had stains all over. I'm sending this one back as it is not possible to cook in the same pan again. Very disappointed.
