Hip but a little tight

Granted, I have gained SOME weight over the last 7 or so months but this fits a bit snug...maybe it's me; I am not obese -- just a bit overweight...I don't normally wear 'chokers' albeit this isn't supposed to be one...I have a 16 inch circumference neck and this is a bit -- just a bit -- snug on me...or, should I say, I would prefer that it were even 1/4 inch 'longer'. Otherwise is a nice product.
