Love houndstooth,, but the fingers are weird

Houndstooth is my favorite pattern !! When I saw these I was in love. Ordered immediately. HOWEVER, was heartbroken when I received them. The fingers are off. The pattern doesn't cover the finger completely. The pattern on the fingers are skinny causing them to look very weird and unfulfilling. :( I will order another pair incase I received a bad one. I pray!
