A Different Take on Vampire Lore

This is a very different take on how vampires come to be, who they follow, and what forces of evil they face. This book asks the question, what if vampires weren't bitten and turned but instead it was genetic and the "change" started when you're a teenager. In this book you follow Zoey Redbird on her journey of navigating her new life as a 16 year old vampire fledgling with some interesting new powers. I highly recommend this book for those that have read the same vampire lore over and over and want a fresh new take on it. Extremely well written and it's a huge series so you won't be sad when this book ends. The authors are absolutely amazing at what they do.

Great read!

I recomment this to friends and to family that enjoy to read. The story flows nicely and I enjoy the female lead and how she becomes empowered to stand up to a bully in just the right way. Will grab your attention and keep it.

Amazing Coming of Age Book!!

I've read this whole series, novellas, and sequel series off an don since I was 13y/o!! I love how the protaganist is just a sixteen year old girl who would want nothing more than to know how to parallel park and pass geometry while simultaneously have her whole world turned upside down and not only change schools but also change species?! Zoey Redbird and the Nerd Herd is the perfect mix of a "Harry Potter meets Twilight" YA fiction series. Perfect for anyone!!
